Passport
The lesson program at Montana Snowcenter is structured so that children learn to ski or snowboard in a fun and safe way. The children's progress is tracked in the passport they receive from us at the first lesson of the course.
The lesson program is divided into 4 levels. At each level there are different ski or snowboarding exercises.
The passport will tick off the exercises your child has mastered. At the end of the course, each child receives a medal showing the level achieved and an updated passport.
This makes advancement to the next level easy. You can check the passport to see in which level you can register your child for the next course. You can then take the same passport again for the next course.
Age categories and levels
There are three age categories for skiing and one category for snowboarding:
- Skiing 4 and 5 year olds
- Skiing 6 to 8 years old
- Skiing 9 to 12 years
- Snowboarding 8 to 12 years old
Each age group has 4 different levels. Watch the videos below to determine at which level you can book the course for your child.
Level indication with videos
NOTE the following when making a booking:
- If your child moves up one age category then your child moves down one level in the new age category. For example, 6-8 years level 4 becomes 9-12 years level 3 in the next course.
- Are you unsure about the level for (a follow-up) course? Then you can consult the videos above when you choose the level when you make your booking.
