Important information
There are a number of different age categories for group classes:
- skiing: 4-5 year olds
- skiing: as from 6 years old
- snowboarding: as from 8 years old
We give ski lessons to the youngest skiers (4-5 year olds) at special times, this is to give them the extra help and attention they need.
Grading:
When making the group classification, we try to make the best possible classification based on age and level.
Group lessons are offered for every level. Whether you have never skied or snowboarded before, or whether you already have a lot of experience: you can simply sign up for the group lesson of your age.
Level classification
Your level is determined by our teachers. The teachers ask some questions about how much experience you have and then give you some matching exercises. Based on these exercises you will be assigned to a group. If you have no experience, you will be assigned to the beginners group. Age is also taken into consideration, because children learn differently than adults.
Ability to advance level
There are multiple teachers present. If someone in the group is progressing faster than others, or rather more slowly, there may be early shifts in level and you may be transferred to another group.
The schedule varies from week to week. You can see the full schedule using our online booking system. A rough guideline for the winter season is:
- on Wednesday and Friday afternoons (convenient for children)
- on weekdays in the evening from 18:00
- on weekends from 14:30
- in vacation weeks (Christmas and spring half-term) almost all day
