Winter sports in the Netherlands
Montana Snowcenter is an indoor skiing area to the south of Valkenswaard in the
Netherlands. The center provides year round skiing and snowboarding on real snow. Strange but
true: a layer of fresh snow falls every night at the Montana Snowcenter in Westerhoven.
The 7,000 m2 of snow offers experienced skiers challenging slopes and – crowds permitting – a mogul field and a big jump. There is a separate run for beginners (both skiers and snowboarders). There are also plenty of options for children. After all the fun of skiing, you can relax with a drink or for a good meal in our bar or restaurant (with a view of the slopes). A wristband for your ease of use
Unrestricted Skiing and snowboarding is always possible at Montana Snowcenter unless it is too
busy. You need to have a little experience with skiing or snowboarding. But even if you lack experience there is plenty to do on the snow: just take one of our lessons.
Day pass
With a day pass you can ski or snowboard all day for a very competitive price! Naturally, you do not have to stay on the snow all day and are free to leave and get a bite to eat or a drink. You can use the day pass all day on the day of purchase.
In love with your skiing instructor?
In winter sports areas skiing instructors sometimes end up providing
more interesting lessons after work. Montana Snowcenter’s accredited skiing instructors only have one thing on their minds: teaching their pupils to ski and snowboard responsibly according to the latest methods.
Learn to ski or snowboard safely and quietly on the separate teaching run in groups of at most
10 people. Naturally, private lessons are also an option. Especially for our foreign guests, Montana
Snowcenter has packages for both weekdays and weekends. Make sure you book well in advance!
Packages book out really fast during the busy winter season.
Après-ski and Restaurant
Relaxing in a welcoming restaurant with a view of the slopes after skiing … what could be better?
Naturally, besides a delicious glass of glühwein you can also order a beer. That really makes
it relaxing. So all that activity has left you peckish? Well at Montana Snowcenter you can eat a la
carte or select one of our menus.

At Gunneman Snow Sports, located in Montana Snowcenter, you will encounter all the top skiing equipment and clothing brands. Thanks to the expert staff, you can always be sure of making responsible
choices.
Tips
• Unrestricted skiing and snowboarding only for the experienced!
• All lessons must be reserved in advance!
• The temperature in the hall is -5 ºC: wear warm clothes!
• Gloves are compulsory
• Do not wear jewellery, watches or keys on the slopes as you may lose them
• Prevent disappointment and reserve in advance.
• Changing rooms with lockers
• You must abide by the house rules and the slope regulations
Center Parcs De Kempervennen
Montana Snowcenter is right next door to the large park De
Kempervennen. This is not only an ideal location for a relaxing holiday,
but also for an exciting, exotic day out with family, friends or colleagues.
Features include the large Aqua Mundo water park where you can swim in the
waves or even with sharks! There is a spectacular white water ride and a slide with sound and
light effects. Young children can climb and slide around the waterfalls and fountains in the Egyptian
kids activity pool.
Dare devils will meet a suitable challenge in the shape of a 12 meter high climbing wall, Zip-
Wire, Flying Fox, Abseiling, Blind Trail and waterskiing. Even bowling and midget golf can be
exotic as the old Galjoen (galleon) or Abel Tasman Golf will
show you.
